The accounting specialist, Shared Services, is a growth related addition to the team with the following areas of focus: To process the full scope of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions in a timelyand accurate manner. This includes maintaining internal controls to ensure transactions areprocessed properly in accordance with company policies, procedures, and required compliance.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPrimary responsibilities in AP: process vendor invoices, which includes 3-way match verificationagainst receiving documents; reconcile vendor statements; accurately resolve invoice and billingissues with vendors; process vendor payment runs via electronic ach, check, and wire; managevendor correspondence via email or telephone; meet processing and reporting deadlines.? Primary responsibilities in AR: generate invoices and statements to customers; post and applypayments and record deposits; accurately resolve invoice and payment discrepancies; performcollection activities for past due accounts; manage customer correspondence via email ortelephone; meet processing and reporting deadlines.? Perform AP and AR functions for multiple entities using various ERP systems.? Assist with special projects as needed, which includes audit requests.? Communicate with both internal and external customers in a professional, courteous manner.?
