Employment Solutions is currently seeking a Customs Entry Writer as a Direct Hire for the Medley, FL area. Our client is an international freight forwader who has been in business for over 20 years!

The Customs Entry Writer is responsible preparing, compiling, and managing all documentation and records required to clear goods through the United States Customs including negotiating with, retaining and service as airlines, shipping companies, trucking companies, shippers, consignees, bonded and other warehouses.

Responsibilities:
Follow company procedures and SOP`s.
Monitor and track inbound shipments.
Review the accuracy of commercial documentation and explain for entry purposes.
Independently perform different types of entries from start to finish in timely manner
Review and resolve issues that may prevent timely entry and/or release of goods with internal
and external parties.
Prepare and transmit CBP and PGA entries and transmissions electronically.
Must perform daily ISF filings
Process FTZ import shipments, customs form 214, 7512 in bonds.
Coordinate delivery of goods.
Respond to communications from internal and external customers.
Prepare and complete invoicing.
Develop and maintain customer profiles based on the customer s shipment history
Other tasks assigned.

Requirements:
Associates degree in a related field.
At least 3 years of experience as Customs Entry Writer.
Experience with merchandise store in FTZ warehouses.
Experience with Cargowise, required
Attention to detail and sense of urgency.
Strong oral and written communications skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Detailed oriented with good organization skills.
Positive ``can do`` attitude
Ability to work quickly and precisely in a fast-paced working environment under tight deadlines
Ability to take direction well and with accuracy
Solid organizational and problem-solving skills
Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work well both independently and in a
team setting
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignment simultaneously.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite: Outlook, Excel, Word.
** Pay: $48K - 55K per year
** Hours: Mon-Fri 8: 30am-5: 30pm
** Bilingual English/Spanish
