Psychiatrist Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at State Hospital in Napa, California

A state hospital is seeking a psychiatrist for ongoing locum tenens coverage.The facility is located in Napa, CA.Must be willing to commit 6+ months full-time. The schedule is Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday (10 hour days). If on the long-term unit, will be part of a treatment team with a case load of ~30 patients. Psychiatrist will meet with the treatment team, work with nurses, psychologists and LCSW and see patients. Each patient gets seen by a psychiatrist at least 1 time per month. If they do admissions the psychiatrist will see approximately 16 PPD but will have a medical doctor that will do the H&P. Forensics facility with the majority of patients dealing with schizophrenia & bipolar.
