Job Summary:

The Sr. Director, People Experience - Global Total Rewards contributes to the company performance by providing strategic consulting and delivering valued results in the areas of compensation and benefit strategies in support of the business objectives. While expected to provide thought leadership in a variety of people domains, the Sr. Director, GTR is expected to strategize, develop and execute solutions primarily in the Total Rewards (compensation, benefits, payroll, HRIS) process and policy development/implementation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Design compensation programs that effectively align with the organizations business goals, while ensuring consistency across multiple lines of business
  • Design and develop strategies for base and variable pay plans, job grading, and merit programs
  • Manage long-term incentive programs
  • Lead and manage the benefits program globally, taking into consideration how benefits impact the company culture
  • Provide training, coaching, and guidance to the Total Rewards team
  • Evaluate and further develop internal processes and programs to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
  • Manage benefit providers, brokers, and financial consultants; develop new ideas, recommend changes, and oversee delivery
  • Promote employee understanding of benefit plans at all levels of the organization
  • Oversee management of the HRIS system and processes within Total Rewards
  • Monitor the regulatory landscape to ensure the ongoing compliance of programs, plans, processes, and practices in the areas of compensation, benefits, and HRIS
  • Serve as subject matter expert for purposes of due diligence and integration in merger and acquisition activities
  • Promote partnerships with senior management and key stakeholders to build relationships that support and are responsive to the needs of the business
  • Collaborate with the People Experience Team to ensure market competitiveness and internal equity
  • Implement and keep accurate metrics concerning payroll, benefits and compensation effectiveness
  • Ensure that Tecomet is 100% compliant with federal and state employment law in all of its practices
  • Perform any other job-related instructions, as requested
  • The position requires 15% travel with occasional global travel as needed
Qualification Requirements

Educational/Training Requirement:
  • Bachelor of Science/Arts (BS/BA) degree in human resources, management or related field, or equivalent work experience required
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) or related field preferred
  • Ten (10) years of experience in Total Rewards is required
  • Five (5) years of global compensation experience
  • Five (5) years of management experience required
  • Experience leading compensation and benefits programs focused on driving business results
  • Demonstrated capability of developing talent rewards strategies and programs for growth-oriented companies
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry highly preferred
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to effectively manage teams and projects
  • CCP certification is highly preferred
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification highly preferred and/or PHR or SPHR certification highly preferred
